Bloc Party at First Ave. 5/4/09

Wow. That about sums up what I witnessed at First Ave. last night. THE Bloc Party was in top form and is easily the best show seen since this blog was created. It was non=stop and the boys from the U.K. gave a great show after so politely coming back after they were forced to cancel a month or so ago. It was a great mix of mostly Intimacy and the classic Silent Alarm (one of my first albums post top 40 phase). Kele was on his game with the audience, getting great response to every word that came out. He also showed his lighter side chatting with various members of the audience. Minneapolis thanks you Bloc Party for the dedication to add a date at the tail end of your tour, just to keep your word after the prior cancellation.
