Killer song, killer video, and wouldn’t expect anything less from them.  You can check out the interview we did over the summer with them under the corresponding tab.

Missed the show due to outrageous ticket prices, but they are a super-group for a reason.  Love this song, and the video.

MinnScene is back!

2009 November 11

Back from a long vacation, that stemmed from early August until now, we want to apologize for the lack of material on here over the last couple months.  We have attended a couple shows over this time period, and below would like to share what we do have.  Within the next couple weeks, we hope to be back in full force, covering everything music in the Twin Cities.  Please accept our apologies and enjoy the videos, pictures, etc.  Thanks for the patience!

P.S. – We are looking for a couple writers that would like to cover some shows and do a little reviewing for us.  So if you’re interested in some free concerts and helping out with this site, please send us an email: MinnScene@gmail.com

Phoenix at First Ave., one of the best shows this summer…other than the last time they were here.  All of the videos below were shot by us.  Enjoy!

DSC00433Ra Ra Riot at the Varsity…still feeling Wes’ Discovery project, even though they’ve gotten some tough reviews.

DSC00405Ramona Falls at the Entry…probably my favorite band that, “I hadn’t heard much about” this year.

DSC00386Solid Gold playing a show at the Varsity…can’t wait to see them in the Mainroom again.

The Killers’ finale to Lollapalooza, and in all honesty the best (and probably most expensive) set of the weekend.

Deerhunter at Lolla…I didn’t realize how great they are live until after this weekend.

Depeche Mode.
